Every year, the GW Office of Entrepreneurship and the GW Career Center partner to deliver to the GW community an annual career expo, during which students and alumni can meet and network with some of the hottest startups looking to hire talent in the greater DC area. In March 2012, Startup America's DC Chapter and over 15 of the most prestigious universities from Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC, collaborated with our office to bring some of the top startups and hundreds of the most entrepreneurial students together in one location. This spring, we welcome back all GW students, students from our partner universities, and the hottest 45 startups from the Washington metropolitan area to join us for the 2013 Startup Expo. 2013 Startup Career Expo Information

Due to the bad winter weather and challenging road conditions, the George Washington University is closed today, 3/6, and all events and activities have been cancelled. Thus, we are postponing the 2013 Startup Student Career Expo to March 19, 2013. 

NEW DATE - Tuesday, March 19, 2013 // 1:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M.

The venue is conveniently located between two metro stops - GWU/Foggy Bottom (blue/orange lines) and Farragut North (red line). Parking is available at the Marvin Center's visitors parking for a set fee. For more information on campus parking, please visit Parking Services' website.

Registration Instructions

For Startups: Participation is free but will be limited to a maximum of 45 startup companies.  To register, please: 

• Create/enter your GWork account
  • If creating an account for the first time, your organization registration for GWork (not the expo--that comes in another few steps) goes into a pending bin
  • Once approved, you will receive an email with your UserID and password
• Enter your GWork account
• On the top menu bar, select Events
• Under Events, select the registration button for Startup Expo
• Follow the directions to submit your registration.
• You will receive a confirmation for your event registration and detailed instructions for the day of the event at a later time.

For GW constituents: Please register on GWork, using your personal account and selecting the Startup Expo as the event you wish to attend. Registration is free.

For non-GW constituents: Please use the form below to register for the event. Please bring a valid student ID with you to the event for verification purposes. Registration is free.
